Top Layer Abrasion

Due to Gravity and Viberation the aggregate settled down at top of paver during production (as pavers are manufactured keeping top down in a PVC mould, post pavers are installed upon usage the traffic movement rubs away the micro mm layer from the top resulting in abrasion of pavers.

Surface Undulation

Plastic moulds, being plastic upon reaction with hard chemicals present in cement are prone to undulation. The plastic moulds are washed with HCL or similar hard and harmful chemicals to remove the cement of batch produced to manufacture next batch after de-moulding pavers impactas the plastic layer and effects the mould resulting in undulation, hence seen in pavers as seen in images below.
